I was raised in southern Germany and moved to Maine in 1996. While in Germany I attended sewing classes and learned the art of tailoring.
The excitement and passion of sewing and being creative was handed down from my Grossmutter to my mother and then to me.
One of my first sewing memories was sitting at the kitchen table and working on outfits for Barbie and Ken. My first customers.
Over the past years I have mostly focused on repurposing and reusing all sorts of materials. I constantly try new ideas and learn new techniques.

As of now I work on jewelry collages, paper collages and furniture.
